Amazon SNS fee

Last update: September 3, 2025

The Amazon SNS Fee determines the cost of using MailBluster’s notification system. The calculation for SNS is a bit complex. MailBluster uses the HTTP/s Endpoint notification delivery type, which costs $0 for the first 100,000 requests a month, and an additional $0.60 per million requests. More details on SNS pricing can be found here.

For example,

To give you an approximate idea of the cost: If you send 100k emails with a 20% open rate and a 10% click rate, the total SNS requests will be (100,000 for delivery + 20,000 for opens + 10,000 clicks) = 130,000. The Amazon SNS charge will be (130,000 – 100,000) = 30,000 x ($0.60/1,000,000) = $0.018.

So, in this example, Amazon SNS Fee would be less than two cents — very affordable even at scale.

Price of sending 1001 emails

Last update: September 3, 2025

For sending every 1000 emails, MailBluster will charge you $0.6.
If you send only 1 email, then MailBluster will charge you $0.6.
If you send even 1001 emails, then MailBluster will charge $1.2.
If you send even 2001 emails, then MailBluster will charge $1.8.
So you need to be careful and double check the costing before sending any bulk email campaigns from MailBluster.

Be sure to check out the pricing from https://mailbluster.com/#pricing and if you scroll down, you’ll find our pricing calculator, which can help you estimate the cost of your email campaigns accurately.
