Amazon SES allows you to leverage the cost-effectiveness of bulk email services, making it an ideal complement to MailBluster, the most affordable email marketing software. When seamlessly integrated with MailBluster, Amazon SES ensures optimal deliverability and enhances sender reputation, making it an essential step for businesses aiming to maximize the impact of their email marketing campaigns. MailBluster does not support Custom SMTP servers or services nor provide any 3rd party SMTP servers or services. That’s why a user must have an AWS account to use MailBluster.

How many emails can be sent per day from MailBluster?

Last update: July 11, 2024

The number of emails you can send each day depends on your Amazon Web Services (AWS) account, specifically through Amazon SES (Simple Email Service), which sets the daily limit, not MailBluster. Initially, after moving out of the Amazon SES Sandbox, AWS provides a daily sending limit of 50,000 emails per day (within 24 hours). This limit may vary, potentially reaching 60,000 or even 100,000 emails per day, depending on your account’s previous sending reputation.

MailBluster uses your AWS account to send newsletters and marketing campaigns since it doesn’t provide an SMTP server or services. If you follow best practices and maintain a good sending reputation, Amazon SES may increase your daily sending limit upon request.

MailBluster is still giving a message to move out of sandbox

Last update: March 18, 2024

You can refresh the Amazon SES usage box as shown below:

Reloading the Amazon SES usage box

But if it wasn’t updated, then most of the time, the reason is that Amazon SES moved you out of the sandbox in a different region (not the one that you have selected). The confirmation email should contain the Region; please choose the same region on MailBluster.

If the issue still persists, then generate the AWS Credentials again correctly by following this video tutorial:

Can we send a test mail from MailBluster while my AWS account is in Sandbox mode?

Last update: March 12, 2024

You won’t be able to send any test email or bulk email from MailBluster while your AWS Account is in Sandbox mode. Also, while your AWS Account is in Sandbox mode, those 200 emails you see are only for the virtual mailbox simulator, not for sending actual emails or Test mails to your leads (recipients) from MailBluster. So in conclusion, you won’t be able to send any emails whether it’s a test mail or bulk email from MailBluster until and unless you move your AWS account out of Amazon SES Sandbox.

What should I do if I haven’t received the verification email from MailBluster?

Does MailBluster provide secured and reputable IP addresses?

Last update: March 14, 2024

MailBluster does not provide any IP addresses. MailBluster and Amazon SES are separate entities. MailBluster utilizes Amazon SES to send all marketing emails. If you require a dedicated IP or SMTP server, you must utilize your own AWS account. There is no configuration necessary from the MailBluster side. Should you wish to purchase a dedicated IP, please contact AWS directly. MailBluster can then utilize this dedicated IP, otherwise, it will utilize a shared IP provided by AWS.

Sending cold emails using MailBluster

Last update: March 18, 2024

Sending cold emails through MailBluster is against the terms of use of MailBluster. You cannot send unsolicited emails to a receiver without prior contact. That is, you are not allowed to send emails to those who are not your subscribers. This is according to the guidelines of AWS. It might also result in blocking your MailBluster and AWS account forever.
